Methodology

How We Rate Websites

Pythia™ analyzes 5 critical indices to produce a unified P-Score (0-100) and Pythia Rating (AAA-C). Think of it like a credit rating for websites.

The 5 Indices

1Performance (40%) – Google Lighthouse performance score (LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP, Speed Index). Validated with real Chrome user data when available — the industry standard trusted by millions.
2Security (20%) – HTTPS, Content Security Policy, X-Frame-Options, HSTS, Permissions-Policy — the headers that protect against attacks and build trust.
3Privacy & Tracking (20%) – Cookie count, tracker detection (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.), privacy policy, GDPR compliance signals, third-party domains — critical for regulatory compliance.
4Sustainability (15%) – Page weight, green hosting, image optimization, lazy loading, resource efficiency, and CO₂ per page view — ESG metrics that matter.
5Infrastructure (5%) – CDN usage and intelligent caching strategies (max-age, public, immutable) for cost-efficient global delivery.
